The Blooming Rose

God's been growing something that's
So elegant and grand,
Nurtured ever carefully
With gentle, loving hands.

Watered, pruned, and slowly trained,
In splendor she displays
The nature of the One above
Who's groomed her for this day.

Now her life's aroma claims
An ever-widening sphere,
Inner beauty mirroring
The one's who've held her dear.

Girlhood's journey's thus complete:
A bud becomes a rose,
Blooming with the character
That only God bestows.

Tenderhearted, thoughtful, and
A help to all she knows,
Sensitive, affectionate,
For Rachel is that rose!
