My Pilot's Hand Is Steady

Though the tempest roars and rages
And I shudder in its force,
My Pilot's hand is steady
And will keep me on the course.
Though my craft be frail and flimsy
As the crashing waves assail,
My Pilot's hand is steady
And will hold me in the gale.

Though the waters boil and billow
And the lights of shore be dim,
My Pilot's hand is steady,
And my hope must be in Him.
Though my bark be weak and weary,
Every Pilot's hand trial a tossing sea,
My is steady,
"Peace be still" can comfort me.

(Refrain)
Though the storm I'm in is howling
I can hear above the din:
"Be of faith and never fearful
So My hand can guide you in."
