Never A Time
His ears attend to their cry.
When flooded by troubles or difficult struggles,
The Lord hears every murmur and sigh.
Never a time His saints must be lacking,
In want of something they need.
To those who will fear Him and seek to be near Him
The Lord proves His goodness in deed.
Never a time when swirling afflictions
Force us to stumble and fall.
The righteous have many and troubles aplenty;
The Lord saves them out of them all!
Never a time when He can't deliver
Hearts from the clutches of fear.
When they are near breaking and spirits are aching,
The Lord draws especially near.
Never a time that we're not encircled,
Secure in the fear of the Lord.
For we're plucked as a brand from the fire by His hand;
The Lord keeps His Angel on guard.
Never a time that He will condemn us:
Cast off, abandoned, alone.
As He slays the wicked for evils committed,
The Lord holds the souls of His own.
(Refrain)
Never a time that I cannot bless Him!
Never a time I can't praise!
Never a time my soul must be silent!
His name be exalted always!
